This may be my final review of my 29″ Genesis GS29 mountain bike. I purchased this bike at Walmart the summer of 2015 just to ride with my kids and grandkids a little. I took to riding it daily after having physical therapy for my right knee. I have been riding it almost six days a week since February, working my way up to 22 miles per day for a total of 578.82 miles on this bike.

I am learning a lot about biking and recently bought a Specialized Sirrus Sport Disk. Look for upcoming reviews on it.

  1. I could have purchased that bicycle from you! I like the idea of having a 29 inch wheel. But would also like to have a rack for carrying something over the back wheel.

  2. Thanks for the comment.
I rode this bike all week while out camping Monday through Saturday. It is a lot more difficult to peddle than my Specialized Sirrus is. That's probably because of the knobby tires and less air pressure in them. But the end of the week I had to readjust the handlebars up. They do slip down over time (and not very much time.)
