    · They are very fragile
    · They are very light
    · They handle fairly poorly
    · Bumps will bend them and even destroy them
    · They are completely useless outside a velodrome

  2. It's funny because it used to be the way you explained a "fixie" on the street was that it's like a track bike in a velodrome.

  3. There is no competition if there is no innovation. As long as the bicycles are lighter than 20 kg they can join the race.

  4. there's some important information that wasn't mentioned, like gear ratio or different bike set ups for different types of race.
