This is a product review of the Blackburn Airstik SL, a super light, mini bike pump. I’m going to demonstrate how many pumps it will take to get you riding again and how long it will take.

Mylungpuppy is the channel of musician Ron Anderson.

I have been making avant-music for over forty years in a number of different projects; PAK, The Molecules, RonRuins, numerous collaborations and solo. I combine composition and improvisation exploring the regions where they intersect. Sometimes my music is brutal, but I’m not afraid of melody, in general my work is pretty much “out there”.

The main focus of my channel is music, but I also make vlogs on various subjects, cycling, touring and traveling, vegan food, rare vinyl LPs, audio field recordings, etc. Because not everyone is going to be interested in all the subjects covered on this channel, I have made playlists so you do not have to search through videos to find what you are looking for.

I try to answer questions and respond to as many comments as I can, any and all feedback from you is welcome.
I’m trying to make at least one or two new videos a week.

  1. cool video, ive contemplated on getting a micro pump, I probably will sometime as a backup, I have been using the co2 cartridges which work pretty well, but I should probably have a pump as a secondary back up

  2. Helpful video!!!….plus great style with head shave!!
200 strokes for 30 psi, they advertise 160 psi?????….. I saw how much effort it took and you are bike fit.
I live in Haverstraw NY close to Bear Mt. It was nasty the month of August.

  3. Nice video! So have you had to use this pump yet? What are your thoughts on it half a year later? I'm looking to pick this up as it is on sale.

  4. Update: I finally got to use the Airstik in the field. I had to fix a flat yesterday and the pump worked perfectly and filled up the tie much faster than I thought it would…this pump is excellent.
