Garmin’s new minimalist GPS bike computer isn’t for the data-obsessive, but should please those who train with heart rate and don’t want to be bombarded with information.

  1. Can you get 3 fields on the same screen? Such as GPS speed, average speed and pulse rate, please?
I am interested in those 3 parameters on same screen. If not possible I would go for the 520 probably. But if the 25 can do those 3 I would buy the 25 actually.

  2. I'm a new rider, i want to see my speed, distance and how long i've been riding, Rough calories would be excellent too. would this suit my needs if not what do you recommend?

  3. Hello, i am having a problem and Garmin has not replied me, maybe you can help? I have the Garmin edge 100, it was working fine until a few days ago, it stopped uploading to Srava, after spending ages trying to figure out what was wrong, it turned out to be that the garmin is saving the file with the wrong year, its saving as 2036 instead 2016, i have reset the garmin numerous of times and sync it with garmin connect, but its still doing the same thing, any suggestions?

    Thanks
    James

  4. The Edge 200 could draw a "live" breadcrumb trail as you rode without uploading a course, this was nice for finding your way home while mountain biking in unfamiliar areas. Can the 25 do this too?

  5. Hey guys, I love the Edge 25… I use it on an RC car, it shows the current speed and average but can i not see and record my top speed ?? if i could this would be the perfect device 🙂

  7. Nice review . So no annoying censor that screws on my front wheel ? And I have the Garmin 910 will the E25 pick up HR from the strap I use from the 910 ?

  8. Please help, how to Load Segment into Edge25? Save Course(containing Segment) to Edge25, right? Throw Web Connect(USB) or ConnectMobile(Bluetooth)? (i see course allerts, but NO segments :((( )

  9. Thanks for the nice review! Been shopping for cyclometers and I think you’ve pushed me towards this model since it seems to fit the purpose I need one for. Thanks!

  10. Hi, i would like to point out that it is possible to upload gpx / tcx route! The gpx track needs to be converted to a .fit file, afterwards it can be put in the NEWFILE folder of the garmin. Converting can be done on gpsies.com or by downloading  the javawa rtw tool on http://www.javawa.nl/rtwtool_en.html. In my opinion the javawa rtw tool is the best. Gpsies is bad at providing you with turns.
