  2. I agree with everything except for the stainless steel brake lines. That might be bike specific but they make a noticeable difference on most bikes.

  3. yo man, you should find a dealer and start doing test ride/first impressions of a bunch of new bikes. i'm sure with your sub count they'd loan you the bikes whenever you want for a name spot in your videos.

  4. HID are a waste of money. I just went to LED for $200 with install. They are bright as hell and i can see so much better. They also require less power so they dont drain your battery if you need it.

Steel braided brake lines save you money in the long run and they help you if you do track days. You wont suffer brake fade under heavy braking.

  5. I've gotta disagree with you on a couple items in this video.

A full exhaust isn't a waste. It is if you don't add the fuel controller and the dyno tune. Without those you can't take advantage of the exhaust. Those things all go hand in hand. If all you want is to change the way the bike sounds then a slip-on is the way to go. However, I have a full exhaust, fuel controller, and dyno tune and I like what it's done to the bike.

Braided lines don't tend to dry rot and/or crack like stock rubber lines and where I live that doesn't take too long to happen. They also aren't as susceptible to road debris cutting the line and they looks nice. When I put braided lines on my other bike I will admit I didn't feel the difference. What made the difference in my brakes was EBC sintered HH pads and a racing brake fluid. My brakes went from "meh" to OMG! with that small mod.

The other stuff was just cosmetic. I won't bust on someone who just makes cosmetic mods because they like them. That's just making the bike your own. If you've got the money, more power to ya but don't expect to recoup your "investment". That crap isn't worth anything to anyone but you.

(Next thing your going to tell me is that the SpeedoDRD that corrects the error in my speedometer is a waste.)

  6. sometimes you need a full exhaust to delete the cat. theres always full exhausts that go for 300$ you just have to look.

  7. A much better, value for money mod than braided brake lines are new plastics ? Do you know how brakes work ? A rubber brake line expands with hydraulic pressure when you brake. Before you go stare at your brake lines (because it appears this is something you would do), the expansion would not be visible to your naked eye. Therefore some of the hydraulic value is lost. Braided brake lines do not expand. Don't be stupid. You are putting a lot of bullshit out there and the kids are lapping it up.

  8. I put steel brake lines on, because you should replace the rubbers every two years and the steel will last the lifespan of the bike. If you have an older bike you will feel a difference in the brake feel from rubber to steel.

  9. I'm running a steel braided brake line kit and the front setup actually has individual brake lines for each front caliper all the way to the master cylinder so the front brakes do feel and work better… only paid $60 for the front kit…

  10. steel braided lines have a purpose on the track. under repeated heavy braking the fluid will heat of and cause the rubber to expand due to heat. the steel braided lines resist this expansion giving better feel and stopping power. i had this lines on my track bike and STi after initially running them both on the track with rubber hoses. there is a difference

  11. I subscribed this morning, but the brake line comment is making me rethink that decision. I have a 2016 Repsol (a real Repsol) and I added a set of SS brake lines to the Brembo brakes it came with and they make a huge difference. I have put SS brake lines on all of my sportbikes (and my Harley) and my track bike. If you really think they do not improve braking, then your brakes are either shot or you have no feel for the bike you are riding.

  12. You should add" in my opinion" cause if you cant feel the diff between braided brake line and rubber one ur not getting on them.

  13. You're wrong about brake lines. The PTFE brake lines that come standard with the bike are fine, but steel braided ones are better because they don't flex. You said your bike brakes just as well as when you bought it. Unless you change your brake fluid every 300 miles or so, that's false. Braking performance drops off consistently with mileage, ageing brake fluid, wearing brake pads and lines.
